On behalf of the Executive Board, we cordially invite you to the 9th Power Plant Forum, which will take place on September 11 and 12, 2025, in Schwerin/Crivitz.
The event series will focus on forward-looking energy projects from northern Germany: innovative heating solutions such as geothermal and solar thermal energy, the production and use of green gases, and current challenges relating to grid infrastructure and regulation. Practical examples from Schwerin, Stralsund, and Anklam will show how different technologies can be successfully integrated with the aim of shaping the energy transition in a holistic way.
In addition, we will take a look at current funding opportunities in the field of heat transition and provide an outlook on the further development of the Climate Protection Act in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This time, Ms. Diana Schröter will accompany you through the conference as moderator.
As in previous years, a factory tour will take place on the first day of the event – this time with two options:
- Geothermal plant in Schwerin-Lankow
- Schwerin-Süd energy site
